Char Kwey Teow

One of the favorite Chinese dishes in Penang,known as Char Kwey Teow or Fried Kwey Teow. The kway teow (flat rice-noodles) is stir-fried in a wok together with a bunch of other ingredients such as prawns, bean sprouts, garlic, chili paste some dark soy sauce. Also, it’s normal for the wok to be on fire for a while during cooking the dishes, so don’t be alarmed. The action of letting the wok to be on fire while during cooking the dishes also to enhance the taste and aroma of the fried kwey teow. You will always want crave for more char kwey teow when you taste it from our restaurant.
